In the newest episode of LMS Caster ChaShao and Lilballz’s show, the duo was reviewing the Semifinal matches when Fluidwind exposed something interesting; After the LPL Summer Final, RNG was on a "40 win streak in Scrims" fueling their overconfidence.

LMS Caster ChaShao (Fluidwind) has a regular streaming show with former TPA World Champion Lilballz called “XO酱拌LOL” where they break down all the happenings in the LoL Esports world. Containing a mix of comedy and knowledge, the pair have accumulated quite a fan base for the show so far.

RNG’s upset by G2 is not news to people anymore, however FluidWind goes into detail of how exactly this happened. In preparation for Worlds, teams scrim against each other, RNG found success with their “protect the adc” strategy. In fact, they were "undefeated for 40 practice matches" in scrims which provided the confidence they needed moving forward.

Just after the Summer split RNG was practicing on patch 8.16 while not all of the other participates of Worlds were ready to scrim just yet. When scrims were starting teams formed their own scrim groups, most Asian teams were in the same scrim group such as Flash Wolves, Royal Never Giveup and KT. In the end they all went home together.

Fluidwind believes RNG got caught up in the success of scrim results so much so that they continued to use protect the ADC strategy moving into patch 8.19 at Worlds which concluded with their defeat by G2.

Furthermore, it was an unanimous agreement among the teams that had been disqualified at Worlds that IG would be taking home the grand prize.
