RNC Rekkles talks about how he won his series against EDG and his outlook on the rest of the Tournament.

Q: Can you introduce yourself?

Hello everyone

Q: Did you expect your results vs EDG to be 3:1?

I actually expected a 3:0, I was surprised they put up such a fight and I thought they were much better than expected. I thought they would be worse than IG but actually thought they were better than IG. Which is why I feel so confident now about winning the whole thing because our final opponent will be IG or G2, if we make it, which we have already beaten. I feel very very confident about winning the whole thing.

Q: Each Baron play was incredible in this series, who is the most key player during those plays?

I would say Broxah, he makes most of the calls when it comes to finishing the baron or turning on the opponents. Since he had a stellar tournament, I think that translates into a stellar baron play from our team. For the rest of it I would say it comes down to everyone so the laners have to make sure the waves are fine and the support needs to make sure the vision is fine.

Q: Do you think this year is very big for EU?

I would say so but I think it’s the first year where I feel very proud to represent the West. Usually you would want to hide somewhere when you (western teams) start losing to every Eastern team but this time around I feel very proud. Not only of our team but of other EU teams and C9. I’m super happy to be apart of everything and ready to win the whole thing.
